Born on country walks

Paw Pure Wellness comes from a lifetime of muddy boots, full leads and dogs asleep by the fire.

Where it started

We grew up with dogs underfoot

Both of us grew up in homes where there was always a dog waiting by the back door, and more often than not a cat on the windowsill too. Our childhoods were measured in walks: frosty mornings across the fields, long summer evenings along the hedgerows, and muddy paws on the kitchen floor afterwards.

Those dogs taught us early that caring for an animal isn't a weekend job. It happens every day, in all weathers, for their whole lives.

What we learned

Real care lives in the everyday

The families we grew up in knew their dogs inside out: which one hid from fireworks, which one had a sensitive tummy, whose coat went dull every winter. Looking after them was quiet and constant. Good food, fresh water, a warm bed and a long walk.

Over the years we saw how much of a dog's wellbeing comes down to those small daily choices, and how confusing the shelves had become for anyone trying to get them right.

We wanted to bottle the kind of care our families always gave their dogs, and make it simple for everyone.

Why we started

So we began at the kitchen table

Paw Pure Wellness started with a notebook, a pot of tea and a terrier watching from the end of the table. We set out to create one family of daily soft chews for calm, skin & coat and gut health, designed to sit together in one simple routine, taste like a treat and be clearly explained on the label.

We're still a small team in Shropshire, and every jar is made with one question in mind: would we give this to our own dogs?
